Ingredients
- 4 Eggs
- 1 tbsp vanilla essence
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cardamom/elaichi powder
- 1 cup milk
- White bread
Steps
- In a bowl beat the eggs with all items listed above
- Switch on the stove and set non stick pan on medium heat
- Take one slice of white bread and dip quickly in the egg batter, on both sides and place on the pan
- Cook for about 1 minute and then flip
- Ensure the egg batter is fully cooked before serving
- Serve hot with maple syrup and whipped cream

- The bread should be be dipped quickly on both sides
- Do not let the bread soak in the egg batter
- Cardamom gives a unique flavor and aids with digestion
